Nauvoo Grill in Rumson. Great food and very reasonable. They have a couple of rooms that would be good for a small group.

Few places I van think of that are local....Buona Sera (Red Bank), Via 45 (Red Bank, if can handle # people), Salt Creek (Rumson), Graze (Little Silver), Rum Runner (Sea Bright)
Laurie W. replied:
Did you talk to Salt Creek Grille in Rumson? Their food is outstanding, as is the view. The only thing I don't like is that the ceilings are lower than a traditional reception venue.

If their anniversary is today Red Bank might be a bit crazy with the Wedding Walk going on.

We love Pazzo and Costco sells their gift cards. They also have happy hour at the bar where you get half price appetizers and then can move to a table for the meal. Combine Restaurant.com coupon with the Costco GC and brings the prices down.

Buona Sera or La Pastaria for delicious, authentic Italian, even better than homemade and more than enough food....Via 45 for customized, homemade, deliciously rustic American dishes made to order, one dish is better than the next, menu constantly changes daily.
Jennifer M. replied:
Via 45 is really good, the menu changes daily because they get fresh ingredients locally. But whenever Chris and I want a date night, which we are way over due for, we go to Dish in Red Bank. Next to sweetest sin and red Bank Chocolate shop. BYOB, quiet, Small, excellent food and dessert

All the above are good, but noisy. With your own crowd of 8 to 10, it will be noisy anyway. Don't know about Graze, menu looks like different kind of food. Belford Bistro excellent. Il Lago Highlands, newly opened and very good. Porcini in Highlands also good. Pazzo, Red Bank is also good. Via 45, Broad street Red Bank is excellent. But all are noisy! Good luck and Bon Appitite!!

Patrizia's in Red Bank has an upstairs loft that gets you away from the noise. The Wine Bar and Restaurant in Atlantic Highlands is generally quiet, offers nice view and mood music.
