I personally would use a equine dentist vrs vet. A vet only dose a course in dental as part of their profession. Then moves on to the next course. A equine dentist is a specialist in dental care and everything that goes with the health of the mouth. A vet also takes a course in the hoof and a lil in trimming, but ya still wouldn't hire them to be your farrier would you just because they have veterinary license? Regardless of the direction you take... hope ur horse feels better soon. I recommend Greg Vanderwahll, Steve Shaver, or Kris M.

I have been going to Dr. Bart Thompson since I can't remember when. His dad first and then him. Jamie goes there and then her friend Klaryce started there a couple of years back and likes him. He is a wonderful Christian man. His # is: 835-5261. Many great ones I am sure!

Good luck! Finding doctors taking patients in Midland is very difficult. Our doctor left a year ago and we're still looking. For a dentist, Derrick Sanders on Jefferson is awesome. Local guy a few years younger than us. Dr. Pfenninger is great for skin stuff. Not sure if he's a dermatologist or not.
