My son has Dr. Dear in Sanford, and his specialists are in Bay City..

Im not sure, if he accepts Medicaid, but Dr. Jaurbe is an amazing Pediatrician. i had him for 16 years or so. His office is at the 555 building

Dr. Mohadin's nurse terrorized my daughter giving her a vaccine. I would NEVER set foot in that office again!

Dr. Shannon Martin, she is a family physician and she's amazing and takes medicaid

Call the hospital 839-3000 and ask for physician referral services. You tell him the doctor you need and your insurance and they will be able to give you a list of physicians

CMU Pediatrics off of Titabawasse in Saginaw. The Family Medicine office there sees kids as well

Dr. Juarbe is awesome. I switched my kids to his practice because I was sick of having MidMichigan Physicians group affiliated leave and being switched around constantly. Jennifer Grossman is another pediatrician in with him that I have heard good things about. They do take Aetna (we have Aetna) and limited amounts of Medicaid patients. I made them promise me they do not have a high turnover of doctors. Ha! They promised. So far so good.

Max and Violet are doing wonderfully, as always. Thanks for letting them stay with us!@Mandi...Unfortunately, Midland Physicians Group is what I am trying to get away from. They have shuffled me around between 4 different doctors in less than 5 years. I'm not comfortable with the instability they have, and I hate having to review every health issue with a new doctor constantly.

I just saw Dr. Berlanga at Midland Family Physicians yesterday for a shoulder injury. He isn't my normal doctor there, but was able to see me quickly. I really liked him, he was friendly, knowledgeable, and took the time to really assess the injury and work with me on the best course of treatment.

Unfortunately, in todays society with the implantation of Electronic Medical Records, Insurance craziness, and Obama care, I think it will be hard to keep the same Dr. for every time you need to go in or for longer than 4-5 years. I understand and feel the exact way. I just got Dr. Danawala as a new family Dr. and am hoping for some stability in healthcare.

@Jennifer, it is actually the doctors offices that are connected to Midland Physicians Group (the hospital) that have been the issue. I'll check into Dr. Berlanga's office and see if they are the same group.@John, Dr. McKennon was the last doctor they made me an appointment with. I showed up to the appointment, and they had me down for a totally different month. Thankfully I called before the next visit, because they suddenly didn't even have me down for an appointment. Now, they tell me that it has been so long since I visited I have to go through a totally new intake exam before they can see me on a thyroid medication update exam! Takes at least 2-3 months to get an appointment...and then ANOTHER appointment would have to be set for the meds update. 2 office charges, plus a full examination charge instead of just a meds update charge.

Dr. Berlanga is not the same group, it is on Wackerly just past the old Holiday Inn. I think you would really like him and their office seems to be pretty stable, I have had the same doctor there for over 15 years.

Wow Marty thats terrible. Dr McKennon used to be our dr & he was excellent. But he went to North Carolina & i heard hea back. Oh well sorry about your woes

Jennifer Grossman - she listens to me and trusts my instincts, doesn't try to convince me of her way. Although sometimes when I need a last minute appt is seems to usually be at the end of the day. I'd rather then go to urgent care so we can get started on meds. Lately we've had better luck with last minute appointments so maybe they made some changes.

If we could have kept him Dr. Juarbe. When we made job changes our insurance changed way back when. He was awesome our boys went to him. Calm, interacted with kids.on their level, encouraged us to pray when we were struggling with being new parents and was not hesitant to refer us to a specialist when we needed it. It has been a long time, not sure if he is in the area or accepting patients.

I'm not local, but we drive 45 minutes (!) to UM Pediatrics in Brighton. It's so much more convenient and better care to have them able to look at the EMR from the specialists. We already went there for Adele, so...

I can't really help with family doctors, but if Audrey ever needs a cardiologist, Dr. Zreik in Saginaw is AMAZING!! Entire office including Dr. Zreik is so nice and calls you back with answers to your questions quickly.

I dont know if bay city is far for you but I love Dr. Balinska! She is amazing. She takes takes action on all of our concerns. Her husband balinski also practices.

We love Dr Juarbe and he's been our pediatrician for 17 years. We tolerate his office staff.

Dr. Garry NG is really good and taking new patients.
