Dr Dear at Sanford family practice-have heard good things about the others mentioned too.

I have Dr. Dear, she is a good doctor BUT patient service is awful. When you call in it takes days if not weeks to get back to you. I had an appointment Monday and had to wait almost an hour after my a appointed time to see her. This is an every appoint problem.

Dr. Dear is my neighbor and while I don't see her as a physician I would definitely recommend her. A very caring person who is a good listener and problem solver! She has given me lots of good advice plus she is a great neighbor!

I had Paula Klose in Midland. I liked most of the Dr's in that practice.

They have shuffled me around between 4 different doctors in less than 5 years. I'm not comfortable with the instability they have, and I hate having to review every health issue with a new doctor constantly.

I just saw Dr. Berlanga at Midland Family Physicians yesterday for a shoulder injury. He isn't my normal doctor there, but was able to see me quickly. I really liked him, he was friendly, knowledgeable, and took the time to really assess the injury and work with me on the best course of treatment.

Unfortunately, in todays society with the implantation of Electronic Medical Records, Insurance craziness, and Obama care, I think it will be hard to keep the same Dr. for every time you need to go in or for longer than 4-5 years. I understand and feel the exact way. I just got Dr. Danawala as a new family Dr. and am hoping for some stability in healthcare.

@Jennifer, it is actually the doctors offices that are connected to Midland Physicians Group (the hospital) that have been the issue. I'll check into Dr. Berlanga's office and see if they are the same group.@John, Dr. McKennon was the last doctor they made me an appointment with. I showed up to the appointment, and they had me down for a totally different month. Thankfully I called before the next visit, because they suddenly didn't even have me down for an appointment. Now, they tell me that it has been so long since I visited I have to go through a totally new intake exam before they can see me on a thyroid medication update exam! Takes at least 2-3 months to get an appointment...and then ANOTHER appointment would have to be set for the meds update. 2 office charges, plus a full examination charge instead of just a meds update charge.

Dr. Berlanga is not the same group, it is on Wackerly just past the old Holiday Inn. I think you would really like him and their office seems to be pretty stable, I have had the same doctor there for over 15 years.

Wow Marty thats terrible. Dr McKennon used to be our dr & he was excellent. But he went to North Carolina & i heard hea back. Oh well sorry about your woes
