I personally would use a equine dentist vrs vet. A vet only dose a course in dental as part of their profession. Then moves on to the next course. A equine dentist is a specialist in dental care and everything that goes with the health of the mouth. A vet also takes a course in the hoof and a lil in trimming, but ya still wouldn't hire them to be your farrier would you just because they have veterinary license? Regardless of the direction you take... hope ur horse feels better soon. I recommend Greg Vanderwahll, Steve Shaver, or Kris M.

I'm not sure about "inexpensive" compared to other vets but we LOVE Midland Animal Clinic on Patrick. They are great with our cats!
Jean B. replied:
I switched from Midland Animal Clinic on Patrick to Animal Medical Center on Jefferson because they are less expensive, at least in my case. You might also want to try Sanford Animal Clinic on W. Saginaw Rd.
Pauline F. replied:
We use Tri City Animal Clinic on Midland Rd. just east of Mackinaw.
Dottie F. replied:
Midland Animal Clinic is the most expensive one in town. I go to Dr. Blanco at Vet Med on Eastman.
Diane S. replied:
Vet Med is pretty reasonable also but Surrey is really good
Cindy T. replied:
Used to go to Surrey, but then we got a dog that gets car sick so we go to Midland Animal clinic on Patrick, and they're wonderful! Pretty much all of Midland is priced the same.
