I got a back injury from working EMS, I saw Dr Arbit in commerce who got me into physical therapy, I was unable to walk (not paralyzed just sciatica was crushed and caused nerve damage) he got me appointments to get the swelling off of my nerve, then I had to see Dr Steve Rapp who is amazing neurosurgeon, and his staff is great too. I am better today, I still have permanent nerve damage but, that is the injury and nothing could help that.

Go to a Orthopedic doctor first then see what he says..Dr Mitchell at Huron Valley Hospital 248-937-4947 or Dr. Brandt they are very good doctors..

I've had good luck with Dr. John Rosella in Milford. He's an Osteopath. I've also had good luck with physical therapy at Dynamic Back and neck. I assume they are still in business. Went to their office in Waterford.

Dr. Steve Rapp neurosurgeon in Waterford. He is doing outpatient spine surgery. Seems you have exhausted most other options. He is a very good surgeon.

Get an MRI and consult with a spinal surgeon. I recommend Dr. Easton of Troy Beaumont. He did my surgery in 2010 when my sciatic nerve was so severely pinched that I lost function of one leg. I am pain free and fully recovered.

My daughter (16 years old) just had back surgery a month ago. Competitive gymnast been in constant pain for 3 years. Had 2 unhealed fractures in her L 4. Dr Brady Vibert out of Troy Beaumont was the only one who could see her issues. He was her 5 th Dr in 4 months. HIGHLY recommend him. She is 95% pain free, still healing 5 weeks later. This is the best she's felt in 3 years.

Definitely see a neurosurgeon. Michigan Head and Spine Institute is a great one to check into. I know several people who have used them for minimally invasive spine surgery and also have seen physiatrists for epidurals. They can help you figure out the problem. Good luck!

From experience I’m telling you do not go to a chiropractor, I ended up with a pinched sciatic nerve and nerve damage from a chiropractor, not sure who you’ve been to so far but I saw a doctor in commerce when I could barely walk from my pinched nerve his name was Dr Arbit. I hope you find relief I know your pain as I live in it everyday now since my nerve damage was not reversible
