Anybody know of a good exterminator to deal with a squirrel problem?

We used a company that did a great job on squirrels and skunks ...they were great to work with and very humane in their treatment. All about bats and wildlife of Norwalk ct 203-847-1224. Website aabates.com use me as a reference if you like from Shore and Country Club

Try one of these rehabbers to see if they would be willing to trap and remove. http://www.ct.gov/deep/cwp/view.asp?a=2222&q=320810&deepNav_GID=1655

We used Connecticut Pest Elimination in West Haven when we discovered our termite and carpenter ant problem. Don't know if they do squirrels, but we liked them.

I'm also a licensed rehabilitator. Please Don't call an exterminator - or even a Nuissance Wildlife Control Company for that matter. Most extract and kill the animals. One of the ONLY humane companies is the one Jim (above) recommended is perfect - "All About Bats" - Reid Boone is the owner 203-838-6203 - and they will remove humanely. Once they are removed - as it could be a a mother and babies. Then you need to seal the area so they can't get in again - or others can't get in in the first place. Or, there is another company out of Cheshire - and they do go to Milford. J&L Wildlife Control. 203-725-4524. I've had many people set their own traps and release miles away - to find out that there is still noise - and starving babies left behind. These companies do charge for their services. You can also try waiting it out. Usually animals do not make a permanent home in attics - but rather look for warm safe home to nurse their babies. Once they are weaned they usually move on. They you can seal up. J&L is also a rehabillatator and she saves hundreds of baby raccoons every year as a volunteer. We need to share the earth - and we have moved in on their territory building houses everywhere. Some of the advice above is just mean, evil and cruel. I rescue many animals alive and suffering from injuries from BB guns and such. Sick F@# people out there. Good luck - feel free to contact me with any questions about HUMANE rescue. Please don't hurt the animals. thanks, Missy. 203-913-1887.
