The guys at the PC repair shop in Bay View are great too. They are on Oklahoma and Clement.

There is a PC Clinic on 5 th & St. Paul Ave, right by the Intermodel Station that is great. They are very honest and reasonable in price.

Jut dont use PC Repair Specialists on Oklahoma in West Allis - owner got convicted for using peoples credit cards. He charged us for putting in a new hard drive and a few weeks later we found some guys resume, files and pics on the computer. HORRIBLE!!!

I've talked with the Computer Gallery owner and have heard nothing but good things. I work with Milwaukee PC often and have a good history with them but their turnaround time can be slow due to volume. I'm pretty quick and affordable.

I would recommend testing out the RAM. Pull out a stick of RAM and run it for a while to see if you still experience the freezing. Keep swapping in and out sticks if you keep experiencing freezes.

I've bought some stuff at 202 PC Repair on Irving, just next to Comet Café. The guy does a good job building and upgrading machines, maybe he can help you.

Just run memtest x86 overnight and see if it errors out. If it does it is most likely the ram so you just need to repeat the process on each stick until you find out which is the bad one and RMA it.

memtest86+ is a good start. http://www.memtest.org/ One more thing I'd recommend is to download bootable live Linix .iso image, burn it to CD and boot from it, leave it running for some time. If you are working ok under Linux for some time - that means you may have virus or other issue with your current OS (assuming it's Windows). In that case fresh Windows install on new HD can be a solution.

I usually do my own, but I was in a jam and needed help. I went to the Milwaukee PC in Menomonee Falls and worked with a guy named Ben or Burt or something. He was quick, easy to work with and affordable.

Since you've replaced the GPU and PSU you've clearly got some base level of computer knowledge. Can you either re-install Windows? or at least attempt a "repair"?

Is there any pattern to the freezing, or does it appear to be random? For example, does it occur more frequently when your PC is under load, such as gaming? Second, is any component of this PC new? Is this an entirely new PC? When did the problem start occuring? Third, do you understand what firmware (BIOS/UEFI) and drivers are? Might be able to assist through Reddit, if you have some knowledge of what you're doing (and I assume you do, as you've replaced the PSU and GPU in testing.)

If you're having OS problems and you don't have the backup disc then i'd suggest (and I know this is WRONG!..yadda.yadda.yadda) you download a pirated version of the OS. Burn it on a disk. and then install it on your pc. You only have to do a bit of research but hey it beats spending $100+ on a new code.

I've used Office Depot in the past. Kinda pricey; depending on what you need serviced.

It has a virus, no virus protection, slow performing if not at all. Fire wall is good and it needs to be tuned up. This is what Office Max diagnosed. Too expensive to repair for me. Stop with that ol negative talk.....lol
