Warners Stellian and Tony's Appliance are two locally owned stores. And, of course, the big box places and ApplianceSmart.

Plaza TV and Appliance in West St Paul. They are really helpful and have good prices.

My co-worker was pleasantly surprised at Warners Stellian's customer service. He went with them due to price, and was blown away at their great service.

Warner Stelian. I got a French door fridge there couple years ago. Great service and delivery people. No issues. Had a good price. That was after checking everywhere. Also depends on what you're looking for. We just needed a fridge. There's also a lot of outlets that have like scratch and dents for amazing prices. Like if you find one with a big dent on the left side, but it will be up against a cabinet or something, you wouldn't even see it ever. So it's something we considered. There's a Sears outlet I think in Saint Paul. Kind of hidden back in an industrial/commercial area. Just had a ton of stuff. Might be hard to find matching sets though if you're replacing multiple appliances.

What part of the southern burbs? That could cover anywhere from West St. Paul to Farmington. My family has always bought our appliances from Ollum's in South Saint Paul. Tiny little place at the corner of Marie and 12^(th), but they've always done right by us. There's a bit of an old school attitude about the place, where the end-goal is to satisfy the customer, not make a sale. If they can't deliver on what you need they will turn you away and direct you to someone who can.
