Runner friends I need suggestions on good physical therapists for working with runners.

Mmmm...Not all IAMs have the running specialty, so that limits the options. I've used the Edina, Riverside/U of M, Woodbury, and Bandana Square locations...U of M Hospital location is my normal location. I loved Sara Mattson--saw her for years...but she moved to Rochester before my last surgery, and so haven't seen anyone else since. I did see someone while she was on maternity leave...I THINK it was Wayne? But that has been a few years. He was good though. Burnsville, Edina, and MPLS all have Alter-G. Haven't used it, but will try the next time I need PT.

Talk to LynLake Chiropractic. They treat tons of runners and have really good referrals
Can anyone suggest a physical therapist who works with runners?
Christy B. replied:
Oddly enough, I have to see a PT starting next week. The Courage Kenny Center at West Health has a PT who specializes in runners.

I'm in PT at the moment and going to Carey Meehan at Saunders Therapy Centers in Maple Grove. She runs for recreation so she "gets" it. She's also really working with me to get to the root of the problem since this is second time I've had this injury (first time was in another state). I've seen her 3 times and it's going really well. Good luck!
