I went to the dentist for the first time in two years yesterday. Randomly stumbled across Smile Right dental. The doctor recently moved to Charlotte and opened up shop in late July. I was skeptical, but thrilled with the experience I had. I especially appreciate the doctor explaining everything to me and showing me what he was looking at on x-rays. You won't find any reviews online because they are new, but if you wanted to get seen today, you probably could.

My aunt and uncle are in the industry (they make fake teeth) so they know a lot of Dentists in Charlotte. They recommended Dr. Wellenreiter to me and I tried him out without mentioning my aunt and uncle's business. He is the best. Highly recommended.

I've had great success at http://reimelsdentistry.com/ Dr Miller is the best dentist I've ever had. I came from Aten Family in the Ballentyne area and they missed several cavities and just didnt do a good job so I would stay away from them.

Looking for a dentist as well. From personal experience, finding a dentist that only practices general dentistry and not oral surgery (ie, crowns/root canals) can make the difference between getting recommended a filling or a root canal. Years ago I went to a dentist who suggested I needed 2 root canals that would've cost thousands. Went to a different dentist that only practiced general dentistry and asked me if I felt any pain from those teeth. I said no, so he gave them both fillings. That was 5 years ago and they've been fine ever since. Dodged a bullet.

I use Dr. Mark Tripp at Landmark Dentistry. They checked all ingredients as soon as I told them & nothing they used contained any gluten. If they have anything new the hygienist reviews the ingredients with me! They have never made me sick.

I go to My Dentists off Billingsley Dr. My dental hygienist (Vicki) uses ground pumice per my request to avoid the flavored polish they use when cleaning your teeth. She is very accommodating but you have to ask for it. As an aside, I feel that my teeth get much cleaner this way too!

Dr. Mitesh Dhulab at Idewild Family Dentistry. He is AMAZING! He's a straight shooter and will never do more than necessary. His staff is excellent too. Even my boys enjoy going to the dentist! Cannot recommend him highly enough, and I am picky about who we see.
