Korma Sutra...one is Westport is best. Especially the lunch buffet.

Empanada Madness on SWest Blvd is great Argentenian. Samazama in Westport does Japanese okonomiyaki which is authentic. El Purgacito off Johnson and I35 does great Salvadoran. I hear the best Vietnamese bahn mi are at the place across from River Market.

Korean at 105 th and Metcalf east of Buffalo Wild Wings. Sushi Haru at State Line and Blue Ridge (131 st-ish). Taqueria at Blue Ridge and Holmes isn't bad.
Lisa W. replied:
Mexican- KMacho in Olathe or El Petro in Bonner Springs. Indian- India Palace 87 th Farley in OP.
Tom W. replied:
My favorite street tacos are from Rico's "Lupe" on SW Blvd. Vietnam Cafe near River Market is excellent. There are many very good Authentic Mexican places in KCK and SW Blvd, but great Asian compared to the Bay will be somewhat limited. You didn't ask about Chinese, but ABC Café at 87 th and Farley, is excellent, authentic Chinese.

Pho Good in Shawnee is tasty as is Vietnam Cafe near KU Med or other location by River Mkt. Hearing great things about new Mexican place at 119 th & Glenwood (Terra, I think). Supposed to be very authentic cuisine.
