Not a man and don’t use a barber .....but there’s one on Eglington and creditview plaza that’s been there for years. Also one in the plaza on Mavis and Britannia is (where the western union is, there’s a tailor in the same plaza and a place called Dhillon Law). Second place is usually crazy busy. Can’t attest to how good either one is.

Np. Good luck with the search. Second place I had mentioned in case you want to check it out: http://icutnfade.com

Fake hair is actually preferable to real hair these days, and a lot of organizations that used to do real hair donations no longer do. It may be an uphill battle.

First Choice at 10 th/Derry in the plaza with Metro. Franchise salon but it's really got that small town feel. Deli (I assume Delia) who seems to be the mother hen there, is from Woodbridge and sounds like it. A lot of people (men/women, old/young) ask for her and queue up for her. Iwona is mine and she's great too. All the staff there are great with my kids.

Headquarters has a pretty good reputation, it's about $25 though. Family Barber is a place on Dundas (lots of barbershops on Dundas) it's good cut's but the barbers set their own prices around $15-$20. Li Boys I've also heard good things about, also $20-$25 ish. You could go to Chinatown on Dundas at Happy Hair Salon for $10, but their barbers vary, a some are very good, others average.

I was trying to find a good barber in Mississauga for my bf since he too only did mall salons. He was due for a hair cut and a beard trim. I did some research and saw that the Barber Studio (streetsville) looked good so I called to make an appointment. Honestly just dealing with them on the phone (they didn't care for newcomers, not sure how they build clientele but ya really stuck up attitude from all 3 people I talked to) and after a mix up since I booked for an appointment and called the next day to confirm the time, no one had booked him in and didn't care to since they all make their own schedules. I did some research and saw Signature Shears come up and realized I followed the owner on instagram cuz he posts really nice looking barber cuts without knowing he was based in Sauga. He's right by sq1, in the plaza on rathburn and confederation. Exactly what a barbershop should be like for a man. I loved it all from skilled barbers to the guy banter, and the laughs and just a great group of men. My bf was blown away how the atmosphere could feel when getting a cut who was used to the salon atmosphere. A man should always have that one barbershop where he can go and get trimmed up in good vibes and service.
