Veronese, Sheridan at Erin Mills and QEW, Joelle is good. I know it's not Port Credit, been going there for a very long time. When you find a good place you stick with them

Salons with private areas for a hair trim? I'm looking for a decent salon with good reviews that also has a private room to just get a trim. The few places I've found...
GhostBustor replied:
Why does this need to be done in a private room? I’ve never even seen a place that had a private room. I could see why it could cost a lot more though
thinkbk replied:
There's a mobile service where they come to your house. Obviously charge more, but you likely won't find private rooms at most salons/barber shops.

there are few Pakistani ladies that have hair salon setup at a home - ask around or maybe somebody here might know.

Try Hair By Reema on Lakeshore, Saboohis Salon on Bristol/McLaughlin or glam me fabulous (makeupbyahlam) - she also does hair. Hope this helps!
Can anyone recommend a really good hairdresser in the Streetsville area?
Sandra D. replied:
Village Hair Studio is the best. I have been going there for about 20 years. Cindy is the owner and she cuts my hair, however Paula is also fantastic. She has a great staff Don goes there as well. It is not a $20 hair style though. It is on the west side of Queen St just north of Tannery between the TD bank and a really great little private coffee shop. I usually get my hair done and grab a coffee and some fancy cookies from the Royale Cafe. Oh there is a Comic book shop across the street and a teeny knitting/quilt shop down on Pearl St. Did i say i love Streetsville. Village Hair. 905 542 9555

Cheryl, my dog often chews on his paw. I've taken him to the vet and they say it could be allergies, but it's more likely just a nervous/bored habit. I use a product called Bitter Apple (safe for both dogs and cats), which is natural but deters them from chewing: http://www.petsmart.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2754400 Might be worth a try.
Michelle O. replied:
I don't know anyone in Streetsville but my awesome hairstylist is in Brampton if you can't find anyone out that way. Her name is Danielle Schanck Maybe she knows someone she could recommend
Patti A. replied:
I have been going to a wonderful vet for more than 15 years. I go to Glen Erin Animal Hospital, the one on Liruma Rd which is an extension of Glen Erin.
Cheryl V. replied:
Patti Altridge -- He does have a friend already. I took him and his sister in from a neighbour when they were 10 weeks old (in December 2010). They had been born in the window well, and were totally flea infested. He likes to trap his tail under his front paw, twitch it, and then attack it.
