Can anyone recommend a good optometrist in Modesto? A big fancy office doesn't necessarily mean the doctors are good at what they do either!

Love Dr Jack Hall in Costco, you do not have to be a member to see him. Even w/o ins $49! A little more if you need dialation. VSP, I believe covers any glasses on their wall, but that is separate from Jack.

Dr G. Barnard Wilson at Oakdale Rd and E. Orange burg. Have gone to him for many, many years and is a great doc. Does complete exams including diabetic eye exams. Has a great staff as well. Good luck on finding the right fit for you. Pretty sure he takes VSP as well

Drive to Manteca and see Dr. Fred Stellhorn at Manteca Optometric...he's AWESOME!!! I lived in Newport Beach now and can't find anyone down here as great and super reasonably priced as he and his staff...so I make the 8 hour drive...it used to be three from Folsom: WORTH IT.

Dr. Nucio at Stanislaus Optometry. I've been there for 9 years and have 0 complaints about their services. It's a small friendly atmosphere and have a great selection of designer glasses with a fast turn around time to receive your glasses

I forgot to add that I have been with the office since it was on J St under a different name (58 years). My original eye Dr. Has since passed and I have a new one there. I am still treated well by the staff and doctor.

Drs Elliot, at Modesto Optometric on Coffee. Been my guts since 1978, his son is there to take it over for the past 10+ years, and they have two other doctors too. VSP, and hundreds of frames. Oh, and awesome staff!

My father and my sister used to do that kind of custom work. My dad worked on some of the cameras used in the 70's flick "The Deep".
Optometrist that accepts Health Net or Medi-cal, anyone know of one? I need glasses ASAP, I can't do anything I used to enjoy, painting, reading, nothing :(
