I would suggest getting there early. Last year over 115 people showed up. "Dr. Timothy Stirneman, of All Smiles Dental, 1452 Merchant Dr., Algonquin, will be opening up his entire dental practice (12 operative rooms) for free to all those in need of cleanings, fillings or dental extractions on Friday, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. This initiative is part of the worldwide nonprofit Dentistry From The Heart, dedicated to providing free dental care to those in need. Dr. Stirneman is one of the few dentists from Illinois participating in the program, according to a press release. This is his second year offering this community service."

I've got bad news for you: If a cavity is bad enough that it's causing pain, then that probably means the cavity is through to the nerves, which probably means root canal.
