I'm looking for a great doctor in the area -
Sherrie H. replied:
Of course I like to keep things local but I will admit my best experience with a doctor that will actually listen to you has been Dr. Mario Seyer in Oregon City. 503-656-1484 I have a couple of different health issues and this was the first doctor I have come across that will actually REALLY listen and work with you to find the best way of dealing with a problem instead of acting like they know your body better than you do.
Susan B. replied:
My husband was misdiagnosed with Venal Insufficiency at Providence Molalla by one of the doctors on call. But other than that, we like Dr. Smucker and his nurses. I've been seeing Dr. Smucker for years.
Phoenix N. replied:
Dr Seyer is an AMAZING doctor- he has been seeing my husband and step-children for over ten years.
Amanda M. replied:
Glad to hear someone likes Dr. Smucker! My husband and I just moved here also and my husband met him and decided to have him as our new doctor. As well as the new doctor for our soon to be born daughter! I have yet to meet him myself though, the hospital bragged about him left and right!
Leota C. replied:
Becky, I see Kathleen Thurman at the Providence Clinic here in Molalla. She really takes time with you.
A W. replied:
Kathleen Thurman. Providence Medical Group. She is great!
Sherrie H. replied:
Just a side comment, I can't remember her name but the lady that does the blood draws at Molalla Providence is amazing and you wouldn't even notice the needle because she's that good:)

Lisa L. replied:
I've gone to the Davies Clinic for 15 years and I will never go any where else, they are all wonderful there. They really listen to their patients. I also have a weight issue and never once has my doctor put me down because of it. I highly recommend them, but I'm not sure if they are taking new patients either.
Susan H. replied:
Kathleen Thurman at Providence Molalla Clinic!!

Candy M. replied:
I have been seeing Dr Kolonic at the Providence clinic in Canby and I just love her. The clinic is across the street from Fred Meyer.
Aaron M. replied:
I agree with Susan Nichols Hageman! Kathleen Thurman is a great primary care provider.
Lynn B. replied:
Dr Kolonic is okay but the staff is atrocious. Can't get scripts called in correctly, doesn't give all instructions for blood tests, call repeatedly (4 calls in a week) about the same appt scheduled for the next month). Let my provider and Providence know about the issues.
Susan H. replied:
I do think Kathleen Thurman won!! 503 829 2273
Sandy K. replied:
I see Dr Kolonic at Providence clinic in Canby and she's wonderful! But also base your choice on what hospital the doc is affiliated with. Meridian Park Hosp in Tualatin is great, don't know much about Silverton or Willamette Falls.

I see Dr. SALAZAR at Prov. Molalla. He always takes the time to listen and is super nice. I have also seen Heather Tonga there and she is equally good! Good luck to you!
Angie M. replied:
Dr Smuckers !
Hendy A. replied:
My entire family sees Dr. Smucker. We've also seen Heather Tonga for urgent visits, and been very pleased. The nurses, medical assistants, and lab techs are all fantastic... you will have a good experience regardless of who winds up as your PCP.

Dr Taylor at Molalla/Silverton medical. I had Sandra and she was the best but she is retired. Then I got Lea and I am not impressed with her. She wouldn't listen to anything I said and seemed like she didn't care. I know see Dr Taylor and she is seriously amazing.
Do you have a recommendation for a great orthopedic doctor in our area? Thanks in advance!
Kerisa M. replied:
Dr Sedgewick Oregon Orthopeodics in OC
Chase D. replied:
I second Kerisa Martin !
Erika N. replied:
Well, we can tell you who not to go with... Do NOT go to Rebound near Portland, Dr. Greamsted is THE WORST medical doctor we have ever had the UN-privledge of working with!!! My husband had a tear in his shoulder that required surgery and basically if you are not a Portland Trail Blazer, DO NOT go there. You will be treated like the dirt on their shoes (if they have dirt on their shoes??) He went to another doctor in Tualatin and got in for surgery (after seeing his MRI) IMMEDIATELY!!
Lisa M. replied:
I had issues with that clinic. Oregon Sports Medicine in wilsonville and other locations. They have doctors that focus on specific orthopedic areas. My doctor specializes in feet and ankles and was very thorough, then Dr. Murphy dealt with the shoulder. I like this better because when one doctor focuses on one specialty they are bound to have more experience on that area. Dr. Schrader did my ankle.:--)
In need of a new health care provider.. Anyone see any of the doctors here in Molalla? It's convenient but I want to make sure he is a good one also.. It's not all about...
Hendy A. replied:
Nurse practitioners are more and more common as primary care providers these days, which IMO is a good thing. NPs and family practitioners focus on preventive, long-term care and 'care coordination', keeping track of the "big picture" of your health while referring you to specialists when/as needed. I've heard excellent things about Kathleen Furman at Molalla Providence. My family uses Dr. Smucker at the same practice.
Brittni C. replied:
I highly recommend looking into Aurora Whole Family (formerly Aurora Family Health). Both Susie Corcoran, the nurse practitioner, and Dr Rosalyn Gross, PhD, are fantastic and wonderful!

Lisa K. replied:
I have had 3 discs replaced in my neck and other fun things. My primary care doctor is at Oregon City Family Practice. They are in old Oregon City. I've been going there for almost 10 years. They are great. There is nothing bad I could say about them. It's a small practice and you feel like you matter. I'm not sure what types of insurance they accept though. They have a website that I'm sure would tell you.
