Yes Tania, I have heard good things too, and I'm contimplating making them our permanant vet... lol we've bounced around soooo much with our dogs, we don't have a regular vet.. Seems they are all equally scared of Dozer... lol But I have heard only good things about Dr. Drmac at vetcare, so I think we're going to give it a try when Dozer is ready to lose his manhood lmao

I go to The Oaks Vet...I love them...they treat you like family. It was so hard when we had to put our Penelly down in june, but they were there to help us with everything. They love my two chihuahuas, and they are so personable.

I was told there is a place on main st close to Mcdonalds know the one? I never went there however I have a relative who has a boxer and he takes her there.I lived in N.B with my Boxer and I can tell you where not to go.The vets at the Lounsbury clinic had a bad experience they wanted me told put my knee on his neck and push him against the wall I told her no way I have never done that to my dog and I'm not starting now it was like she was affraid of my dog who was a big big sook.Plus there was pee on the floor and when I told them at the desk they didn't even bother to go and clean it up right away,I waited 20 mins and it was still not cleaned up.RIVERVIEW no they tried to rip me off money wise tried to convince me that we needed tests for $300-$400 and I said NO just treat him for kennel cough because I knew what it was he was up for his needle and I was waiting until I was moving back to Toronto to his reg vet for his shots.A have heard bad things from that vet my friend took her dog there to put him to sleep and it took 30 mins I told her that was outrageous that it only took my boy 1 minute. Now as far as Elmwood Drive I've not heard any bad things about this vet only good stuff I wish I had taken my boy there. When finding a vet call and ask how many Boxers they have for patients
Colleen B. replied:
that was my boy for 8 yrs and he was treated better than any kid lol he had puppy school training and we loved him so much.If you are looking for a ton of advice on Boxers the website is the perfect place to go before you go to the vet.boxerworld.com it's filled with boxer lovers

http://integrativeveterinary.com/ i think Dr Lizotte may have moved on from Elmwood (not sure)... Check out the link i posted. She is the only one who could figure out what was wrong with Copin when he broke two vertebrae. She was concerned about helping him without killing my budget with unnecessary treatments. She's fantastic!
