Have you tried anal? But in seriousness, they numb you up (might feel pressure and movement but not pain) and it's pretty quick. Get it done Friday, back to work Monday. Or get it done Wednesday if you have time to burn and have more days off. Also, you will be tested to see if there is still sperm so hold off on that joyride you crazy kids. You might find yourself sore for a week maybe but everybody is different. Talk to your urologist.

In the r/childfree sidebar, they have a list of recommended doctors for these procedures. There’s only one doctor listed for Pittsburgh for vasectomies: “Carl O. Bruning, III, M.D. Urologist, Suburban Urologic Associates, Monroeville and Jefferson Hills http://www.suburbanurologic.com/physicians.shtml#Bruning -Second vote for Dr. Bruning. He does scalpel-free without hassling about family situation at all.” Might be worth checking him out if no one else has any first hand recommendations for you.

Don't do it? A friend of mine got a vasectomy. Within a year of the procedure, he found his wife cheating on him, got a divorce, and had to pay for vasectomy reversal out of pocket because most insurances won't cover it. If the wife doesn't want to be on birth control or get her tubes tied, I would just learn to enjoy sex with condoms. Going under a knife for birth control seems crazy to me. For the male or female.

There is a pediatric cardiologist that comes once a month on a Saturday to Dr. Casaday's office, she is really good. Terri had to take the girls to her for a couple of years.

We have seen Dr. Seshadri since our son was born and really like her. I've never been to anyone else to compare though.
