It's in Arcadia but Empress Nails, one of the only salons in the area that uses liners in their chairs (I've been to a lot in Monrovia/Arcadia and this is the first I've seen) they are great and great prices too!

I drive from Monrovia to Happiness Nails and Spa in Glendora (on South Grand). You can't beat the customer service and the price is on point with the quality. I used to go to Urbane on Myrtle, and while their price point is similar, the customer service was not quite that of what I get at Happiness. Good luck!

I like Haileys nails! Spa pedicure for $18 $25 for acrylic nails I'm not 100% sure the price but I believe it's like $28 for manicure and pedicure.

I'd like to nominate my friend Erin Starr. She is the PTSA President at Clifton Middle School and the lead coordinator for the Clifton Spirit Marchers. She volunteers three days a week after school, weekends and summer practices just to get these kids parade ready. She raises money and donates from her own pocket when the kids are in need. For PTSA she tirelessly volunteers much of her time raising money, running the schools 2 book fairs and just picking up the slack wherever else she's needed. She was awarded the Honorary Service Award for all of her efforts with PTSA. I don't know where we'd be without her! She's a true gem who ALWAYS puts the kids and everyone ahead of her and it would be very special for her to receive this pampering for all she does!!

I'd like to nominate Carmen Martinez. Not only is she a home grown pillar of the Monrovia community, who graduated from MHS, but she is a devoted wife and mother of children, who works very hard in her own business...sometimes from dawn until after dusk. Plus, Carmen is co-hosting the next few MEET GREET MINGLE gatherings, too...all that in her spare time. How she does all those things in a 24 hour day is beyond me. Besides, she is a very friendly, likable and personable person that seems to get along with everyone and that everyone likes, too. Plus, she's had some bad luck...some knucklehead just stole the tags off her car's license plates. How low is that??!!? I think this hard working lady, wife, mom and friend to many of us here deserves that salon and spa package. Mrs. Martinez has gotten MY nomination.

Empress Nails in Arcadia the chairs are amazing and have liners that are changed with every guest and you watch them open every package of tools! Everyone is super nice there and they have Netflix movies playing! Plus they are at least $10 cheaper than anywhere I’ve been the only downside I can see is it’s cash only but it’s honestly so worth it

The people at tlc are very nice but the one (and only) time I went there it took 2 a half hours to get a manicure and pedicure (there was no one else there but me and 3 ladies working there) and then I look over and there is a giant roach crawling across the floor. Everything else looked clean and she used clean tools but the bug was a no go for me...
