Spa Xanadu in Arcadia is excellent. Closer than Burke Williams. A little less expensive, but not in the service department.

Full spa facilities and priced more reasonably than Burke Williams.

If you want a massage only then the Massage Company Monrovia is good. If you want the whole spa experience with jacuzzi, sauna, steam room and luxury then the best in the area is Burke Williams.

The spa at The Langham in Pasadena is very nice! You will definitely feel spoiled. It’s called Chuan Spa. The ultimate spa experience! I prefer it to Burke Williams.

I don't know if they have showers but Better Health on Lime is awesome. I've never asked about the showers but you can just call and ask. As far as the massages, I love it there. I've never left feeling dissatisfied. Also, if you need Chiropractic care, see Dr. Sun. He is great.

I'd like to nominate my friend Erin Starr. She is the PTSA President at Clifton Middle School and the lead coordinator for the Clifton Spirit Marchers. She volunteers three days a week after school, weekends and summer practices just to get these kids parade ready. She raises money and donates from her own pocket when the kids are in need. For PTSA she tirelessly volunteers much of her time raising money, running the schools 2 book fairs and just picking up the slack wherever else she's needed. She was awarded the Honorary Service Award for all of her efforts with PTSA. I don't know where we'd be without her! She's a true gem who ALWAYS puts the kids and everyone ahead of her and it would be very special for her to receive this pampering for all she does!!

I'd like to nominate Carmen Martinez. Not only is she a home grown pillar of the Monrovia community, who graduated from MHS, but she is a devoted wife and mother of children, who works very hard in her own business...sometimes from dawn until after dusk. Plus, Carmen is co-hosting the next few MEET GREET MINGLE gatherings, too...all that in her spare time. How she does all those things in a 24 hour day is beyond me. Besides, she is a very friendly, likable and personable person that seems to get along with everyone and that everyone likes, too. Plus, she's had some bad luck...some knucklehead just stole the tags off her car's license plates. How low is that??!!? I think this hard working lady, wife, mom and friend to many of us here deserves that salon and spa package. Mrs. Martinez has gotten MY nomination.
