Pediatricians in Montebello, CA

My pediatrician is awesome, but some of the horror stories I've heard from parents should be criminal. I don't know how some doctors made it through school believing some of the crap they spout. I direct parents here for really basic advice: https://www.choosemyplate.gov/

Dr. DE LA Rocha. My 3 year old is always shy and bratty around people but de LA Rocha makes him comfortable enough to allow him to check him. I have no complaints about the wait or service. Even called him when my son got the noro virus and his daughter called me back right away

Dr Khan would be perfect. I went thru 3 doctors including De La Rocha who would yell at me for taking him in every time he was sick he didn't pay attention to the fact that he had asthma.

Brenda.. That's what happened to my son. He was having asthma attack and he just gave him liquid prednisone. My son couldn't take it due to the fast he couldn't breathe. I was so mad.. But his daughter dr. Chantel she knows her stuff! But sadly she's not there anymore. Going back on all the comments I'm gonna look into DR. Deanna Khan. Thanks!

I didn't like Hector De La Rocha at all he always complained that I would take my son in to much & never paid attention to the fact that he had something. Deanna Khan is a great dr with all 3 of my kids she listens and truly enjoys doing her job. She was the only one that caught my sons asthma. Dr Khan is good, I agree. But get ready for 1.5 hours of wait times in the lobby with no explanation.

Deanna Kahn is the best. Whatever u do, don't go to Dr. Hethumuni. She was okay in the beginning w my boys. But lately she's all about the money! I'm looking for a good pediatrician. Kahn and Hethumuni work in the same office. Khan is great w kids and she is more patient and is great w kids! I love her since one day my oldest, Anthony was about 6 months old and had the rotor virus. She arranged everything quickly to admit him into Beverly hospital.

Helen Koo. Once got my son into ER at 3 am. I called her and she got back to me within 5 min. Said go to ER and they took me right back. He had bronchitis. She is always available. So nice!!

Dr. Deanna Khan. I've been with her for 22 years and she's so good.

Unfortunately all tgese doctors are good but if they have to get hospitalized its going to be Beverly Hospital. My kids have Dr. Wang, poor man was getting frustrated because the crabby nurses were giving him attitude. Not to mention Beverly Hospital pediatric unit is more like a prison. Not even a picture on the wall or good t.v. These are important things to consider because if your kid does get real sick its going to be the hospital that keeps him alive. I wouldn't send my dog to Beverly.

Hector De La Rocha is an idiot I seen him for years he would get bothered that I would take my son in so much but would fail to find his issue! I've been with Deanna Khan for 8 years I love her she's the best dr! I've had friends switch to her & then are all happy. She cares & she gives you her cell for emergencies. She found my sons issue right away. She treats all 3 of my kids

Healthcare Partners in Montebello Plaza. I love primary care doctor Jonathan Chien and ob-gyn doctor Lisa Vasquez. The nurses are also very nice. Their Urgent care has great hours.

I heard many good things about Dr. John Hernandez. I had a former co worker that used to see him for years and loved him. I found out that my former neighbor who works for Beverly Hospital sees him, and I used to have a resident that used to see him too.

Dr. Edwin Yu is great, so are his staff. Only negative is that the facilities are quite old and dingy. HealthCare Partners is good too. Newer facilities, staff has been efficient so far, Dr. Chien is pretty thorough and I forgot his name, but they have a great Nurse Practitioner on staff who impressed me the most. Urgent Care hours are decent, but I've driven to Pasadena for late night/weekend evening care.

Family Care Specialists on Washington Blvd. Same info as provided in the first comment. I've been going there for the last 18 years and I love them.

I drive all the way from Moreno Valley to L.A. to take my kids to Nuestra Clinica on Whittier and Euclid The Doctor is Great my kids actually love going and look forward to their visit...

And the staff at Nuestra Clinica is the best... Their not all snobby with stupid attitudes like at other clinics where they think they're better than you because they're behind a stupid desk picking up the phone...

White memorial pediatric has a few good doctors Dr. Rincon Dr Rivera Dr Guzman, DR segura is good he is just blunt about things n thats why many dnt like him but I do and a few otherss

if you go to the KP.org website, and setup an account, you can login and it lets you search for doctors in your area. Some doctors have more info on the site, than others. Sorry I dont have a direct recommendation for you, since my doctor is based on adult medicine.

Dr. Robinson is a female pediatrician at Montebello. Been having her for years. My daughter is now 14 and she is now also my 5 month old baby's Dr. As well. Hope this helps

Dr. Wang (at the 101 Building on Beverly and Poplar) was my boys' pediatrician until they were 18. They're 21 and 22 now. He was great. Unfortunately he's pretty up there in age. I think his son is going to take over. He helped out for while. He seemed nice.
