I'm still bonking hard on long rides. Instead of it happening at the 50 mile mark, it's closer to the 70 mile mark, now (depending on pace). Docs say nothing's wrong...
Sorry, I'm kinda old school, but I don't bonk. Clif Bars or Power Bars, honey, Gatorade, plenty of water. Electrolytes aren't enough; you gotta have food every hour. Towards the end I'll take a gel or two if needed. If feeling weak, I'll snag a Mountain Dew at the last store stop.

That makes a lot more sense than a pig shaped salt shaker that I was imagining, Bruce. I've never heard of a salt pig. I have cut Clif Bars out of my repertoire recently. Maybe I'll add those back in.
