My son will be going to Vaughn Forest in the fall. We really liked the director, she was super sweet and seemed to love the kids and was excited about the preschool. She also was very very quick to answer my emails and any questions. I called and emailed about 10 preschools and Vaughn Forest is one of 2 that got back with me within a week(she got back with me same day). It's right next to the Deer Creek neighborhood so maybe 3-5 mins down the road from you. They have a 2 year preschool as well! I don't know anybody who goes to the Taylor Rd one but I am sure it would be great too!

Highland Gardens Community center has a free Moms morning out program run through the parks and recreation. I think they ask $8 a month for snacks. It's was M W Th 8:30-11:30 am. Children have to be potty trained (they don't do diapers). It is not a Preschool but provides that interaction with other children and experience away from momma. And with my daughter that did do little activities like a learning color page and crafts. She really liked the staff. Ms Helton and Ms Kim are very open to visitors coming to meet them and see the program. Call and ask your questions and arrange a time to go see them. 240-4556. 2801 Willema Ave. Montgomery AL 36107-1055 United States

Prattville First UMC has a preschool/MDO program. I'm not sure of their rates, but I know the staff is great!

We love VF too.:) I'm not aware of any two day programs for 3 y.o. You could always do MOPS on Tuesday mornings and Ladies Bible Study on Thursday mornings and that way you'd have two kid-free mornings for almost no cost. ;)

We live in Deer Creek as well.:) And yes, Grace Pointe is only Mon-Thurs 9-1, but it is preschool and my girls have learned so much! We really do love it there. My oldest just finished K5 at Holy Spirit and this coming year I'll have another K5 there and my first grader. (My third will still be at Grace Pointe.) Holy Spirit is great if you are looking for full time. Both are church based if you're good with that.
Sinead T. replied:
Sarah, I'll have a K5 at Holy Spirit, too, (and a 2 nd grader and a 5 th grader--all girls). We love Holy Spirit.
Ashley M. replied:
Depends on what you want. There are very few non-church day cares in the area. My son attends A Great Start Learning Academy but will be moving to Hampstead Montessori in January. There is also a Montessori down town (on Hull) and KinderCare is pretty close to Deer Creek. There are also many home day cares that are licensed by the state and I know a good nanny who is doesn't have any kids right now. Like I said, all depends on what you want.
Sarah A. replied:
We absolutely love Grace Pointe!! Grace Pointe is just around the corner as well.
Can anybody recommend a good full day daycare (7ish am-6ish pm) or full day preschool(7ish am-6ish pm) that also goes during the summer? (In Montgomery area)
