Great food at a reasonable price is Victory 44 on 44 th sand Penn in the Camden neighborhood. Don't expect gobs of food, but appropriate portions and great food.

If you're looking for something fun with good food (especially the pizza), check out The Shout House downtown MPLS. Or, if you want to go south of Bloomington, La Fonda in Eagan is cheap, good Mexican food with great drink specials.

I always love liquor lyles for birthdays. They have cheap good food, strong drinks, and a great beer selection. They also have two for ones on weekends so it's great for your friends on a budget. I always prefer to go inexpensive on my birthdays. If my friends make the effort to come party with me I don't want burn a hole in their pocket.

Uptown Cafeteria is my go-to for party dinners. You get cotton candy on your birthday, and I love every damned thing about that place.
