Definitely Jeffersonville Dr. Norris. She does exactly that. She actually is a little awkward with people, but great with animals. She calls you in the early morning the next day to check on your furbaby. She is the best.

You have to try Dr. Noris from Jeffersonville Animal Hospital. She and her staff are the best. You will never want to use anyone else. After you visit she personally calls the next day or two (depending) and checks up on the patient.

Dr. Joseph D'Abbraccio. He is a excellent vet. I highly recommend him.

When caring for my animals I want them to get the best care I can possibly give them! I wouldn't think of taking them anywhere but Dr. Nebzydoski. He's been around a long time and knows his stuff for animals big and small. He is very honest with you, if it's bad news he doesn't beat around the bush, but has saved a few of our animals throughout the years that we thought weren't going to make it.

My guess is that is depends on the breed of dog. I absolutely love Dr Luann Steele. She has very reasonable prices, does both house calls and has office hours, her and her staff treat their patients and their families wonderfully. Dr neb I didn't get the most friendly atmosphere and he was afraid of my rottie Shepard which other then wanting to jump and play with everything in the office was sweet as could be and never gave him a reason to be afraid. But he always made me muzzle him before I could bring him in.

So sorry to hear! Last summer we called Dr Joe for my dog on a Sunday morning & they were there within 30 min. & wasn't costly. For some meds,their travel & to put her to sleep was between $175- $200. We only take our animals to him & his staff.

I called Dr Joe when I moved to the area and whatever lady picked up was disgustingly rude to me when I asked for prices for a house call. I take the drive out to Jeffersonville bc they're sweethearts. Petco in Middletown has a vaccine clinic every Saturday and Sunday, check their website for times. That'll save you the cost of an office fee, $40-50 or so

I would call Youngsville Veterinary Clinic. They are great. Dr. Nebzydoski has over 30 years of experience.

Youngsville Vet clinic! My parents have used him for years and we've used him since day 1, he is super reasonable, and has evening appointments that start 8 pm even (he understands people work). He also won't make you go through any unnecessary tests when he know most likely what the issues is. (I've seen this one happen at another vet)

I would say use a towel under her back legs to help her up and keep it there for support as you walk her. If it's anything major it Sounds like you cannot afford surgery.... That being said why xray? I would try to get her pain killers though. Also care credit has a emergency cc for use at certain vets. You can apply most vets will not take payments especially if they don't know you. Flannery and Newburgh vet hospital take care credit. Goodluck

Care Credit is a credit card that offers low or no interest. I used it for my dog's ACL surgery. It works like a regular credit card. Ask if the vet you want takes it. If the one in Ferndale the above poster mentioned accepts it, I would start there. Wishing you the best for your dog.

Try applying for Care Crédit. It is an awesome card. They will give you a determination today and you can call for you account #. If not call Youngsville vet, Dr. Nebzydoski. Hope he will help, sadly I know this position all to well.

Try Walden Animal Clinic. If you call them they will give you a number for "Care Credit" through Synchrony Bank. can apply and get approval right away. Whie not a great way to go at least you can make monthly payments.The vet costs are not as bad as many in Sullivan Co. The vets office is off 52 on Albany Post Rd. Right accross the street from Angry Orchard hard cider. Dr . Riches is a very caring Dr. They really shine when it comes to caring for skin and ear infections.
