There's a big difference between one or two complaints against a place. But I've been being told MULTIPLE complaints about Montrose Auto Body, not just on this thread but also through PMs. So... yeah. And this isn't my first rodeo when it comes to looking for a GOOD body shop to do repairs to a vehicle. I've just not had to have it done here in Montrose until now. So yeah. Geico will probably send Jeff Johnson out to look at your car. He will leave you with 2 copies of the estimate to bring to the shop of your choice. Even if he figures aftermarket parts, we can usually have our OEM vendors price match so we can use OEM parts even though the insurance is only paying for aftermarket parts.

Montrose Auto Body and Mylars are the ONLY two places in town I recommend. If you go to Montrose Auto Body talk to Steve and at Mylars ask for Ben. And btw, you can take your vehicle anywhere YOU choose. Just because your insurance company 'recommends' certain shops doesn't restrict you to just those. Good luck!
