Dr Huot does.
Tawnya E. replied:
I love Dr Reddin at North Fork Vision in Hotchkiss! She is amazing!
Mandy A. replied:
Dr. Adamich is a behavior optometrist...of surgery is a possibility he may be able to fix things so surgery isn't needed. He did wonders for my daughter with a severe crossed eye. Everybody else wanted to do surgery and he gave us other options. I have been super happy for many years with him as her doctor. And we ha email no crossed eye now.
Nancy Z. replied:
I heard yesterday (from his son) that Dr. Huot and family are moving to Rapid City.
Egan K. replied:
Dr. Lanihan
Laura M. replied:
Oh wow, that's who we see and she has been fabulous with my daughter...catching things that a optometrist missed. We only go twice a year now and she does a complete exam each time. Sorry that you had a negative experience. But, for an optometrist, we now go to Dr. Buck, he's awesome!:)
Tanda M. replied:
We love Dr. Buck
Kari R. replied:
Dr Adamich
Julie C. replied:
We like the docs at Vista Vision on Woodgate Rd.
Melora D. replied:
Dr. Joanna, she's in with dr. Buck. I think she really knows her stuff!

Joanna D. replied:
Dr Adamich (at Valley Vision) is the best amblyopia optometrist on the western slope. I'm an optometrist myself at Montrose Vision, but I refer my challenging cases to him:)
Natasha R. replied:
From my understanding Dr. Lana Han is the only person on the western slope qualified to treat certain eye conditions. That's what I was told by St. Mary's when I had my daughter in november. I think denver is next closest:\
Lisa M. replied:
My son was referred to and had Eye Vision Therapy done to strengthen his eyes done in Hotchkiss by Dr. Diane Redding, an Optometrist. EXCELLENT!
Sarah B. replied:
Yeah...I really wasn't happy with Dr Lennahan's oppinions and solutions. Dr. Adamich is awesome and had some great solutions to help my daughter amblyopia.
Egan K. replied:
Where does Dr. Adamich work? I was also unhappy with Lanahan.
Kerry W. replied:
Dr Lenahan saved my sons vision and will be sad to see her go. Thanks for the info about Dr Adamich.
Egan K. replied:
Dang! My son sees Dr. Lanahan. I had no idea she was planning to retire
Looking for a good eye doctor for my kids, any recommendations? Thank you
Jean K. replied:
Dr Cooper over by the Hospital and they take our insurance
Rajesh C. replied:
Dr Cooper is great doctor in Montrose.
Amber M. replied:
I like Dr. Lisenby at Vista Vision.
Sarah B. replied:
Dr. Andy Adamich is awesome. He is a father of 4, which makes him awesome with the kiddos. We have been to many eye docs and he is, by far my favourite.
Susan F. replied:
I agree with Sarah, in fact I had my daughter in there today with Dr. Adamich. I was super impressed! He made sure that I knew what he was doing and why, and also made me understand what she was seeing. I was seeing the children's eye specialist out of Denver and I will not see them anymore, my child did not get the care and respect and knowledge that she received with Dr. Adamich today from anyone else! We see him at Colorado West Ophthalmology next to the pavilion. And my daughter said he's a funny guy, so that helps with the kids!
I'm looking for recommendations for a great children's eye doctor in Montrose please! Thanks everyone!
Laura M. replied:
That place closed. We have used Dr. Buchanan at either WalMart or 1-Hour Eye Docs, I really like him. For a true pediatric opthamologist though, you need to go to Grand Junction.
Katie G. replied:
Dr. Hadlock at San Juan eye center is awesome with kids. He was able to diagnose Cole's lack of depth perception!
Annie F. replied:
Dr Lisenby at Vista Vision near the South City Market - Awesome!

Skylar J. replied:
My daughter broke my glasses last night sort of freaking out. It says Medicaid pays for glasses but I'm sure we won't find a place here that does it. I was going to call Pearl Vision in Junction and see what they say:)
Melissa W. replied:
I know for children it covers the exam and glasses. My kids go to Vista Vision.
Michele B. replied:
Kimberly Goldstein then you should be fine at Walmart. That is what my son has and I was told that they would pay for his eye exam for glasses.
