All the above are fine, El Caserio is one of our favourites, for a really typical Spanish try La Brisa in Teulada, opposite the municipal swimming pool. Brilliant tapas and a menu for 12.50 including gallons of wine. Looks like nothing from outside but is a great evening.

Any recommendations for restaurant out of Moraira that does great paella?? Will need really good directions please. Many thanks in advance.
Graham D. replied:
The restaurant in the car park at Cala Moraig beach on the Cumbre del Sol. Authentic Spanish. In my opinion, Canis is over rated, expensive and touristy.
Marijke D. replied:
Gerrit Lammens, we know about the decor, but that is not up to be judged here. (We always have a good shufty for something new and have a good laugh) Sad that your last paella was bad, so hope that you complained. They must know you after 40 years & yes I also preferred the ambiance of many years ago, again sadly that is progress.... Still, I do think their paellas are one of the best.
