Both have lots of great information about barefoot horses & horse boots. Much better to have your horse barefoot & the boots allow you to go into really rough rocky country if you need to better than being shod. Duncan has some articles on the websites & is an extremely knowledgeable equine podiatrist. Farriers tend to trim as they would for shoeing. A barefoot trim sets the hoof up differently & allows it to function correctly for work without shoes. Duncan has lots of older boots that he is happy for you to try your horse in. Hope this helps.

He is more expensive but the best you can get for barefoot hoofcare $80 a trim he is happy to teach you how to do your own maintanence.
