april sounds perfect for Georgia.:) The cave town Uplitshikhe is quite interesting and in close proximity to Tbilisi (for a half day trip from Tbilisi), but if you have enough time you may want to visit Vardzia. To get to know the city with a guide, https://www.facebook.com/442270062564265 Tbilisi Hack Free Tours is a safe choice. Make sure to check the sulphur baths ;) There's quite a few small hotels in Tbilisi old town as well, art boutique hotel (some 20 min walk to the old city though) offers a good value for money. Supposedly the best Adjarian khachaphuri can be found at the restaurant next to the funicular (need to check the next time myself, lol). Have fun!:)
