I got mine at XK tattoo (15 minute walk from Voykovskaya). I spoke with them via email about it, and it cost about 6,000 rubles for an hour and a half's work. They did a great job on mine!

I can tell you where not to go-My Way tattoo. They didn't scam me but they somehow double booked my time slot and made me wait two hours and the artist wasn't ready even then. My friend, Russian, she's gotten tattoos here and she recommended "Ink You" studio before.

I just got one today from Love Life Tattoo off of Chistye Prudy. The guys there spoke English, so there was no mistake of what I wanted. I emailed them about the design ahead, so all in all, it was absolutely painless.

some tats look good, too many just look awful unless they're carefully put. although J R Smith on the Knicks looks badass in my opinion
