Check also Esperans. www.vk-esperans.ru And ask for Doctor Trapezov. He has a double diploma from Russia and France. He speaks French and a bit of English. and he did wonder with my cats and the cats of my friend last summer. And he really take time with the animals. To examine my 3 cats and the 2 kittens of my friend, he spent 2 hours and a half.

Nadieshda, if you want English than either above or EMC hospitals. If not from my experience ( 2 children born in Moscow) both baby hospitals we used offered this service for a fee (90 k) I was there through the whole delivery and my wife had her own room and I could visit whenever I wanted, you also get much better support during the pregnancy but usually no English . We can used hospital 1 near khimki and it was great, 40000 births a year they told me!!!

I just delivered 1 week ago in the new EMC: professional staff, dad can stay over on foldable couch bed in same room or double room ( depending on your package). Limited English though, only during day time with the help of the front office. But overall care is good!

If you need long term treatement, it is better buy an insuarance first (rosno or ingosstrakh). Otherwise price is going to be crazy and quality not guaranted. Best hospital in ratings is president's hospital http://www.cchp.ru/ or http://www.presidentclinic.ru/

I searched online "Rating of the best clinics in Moscow Voluntary Medical Insurance (in Russian: "лучшие поликлиники в системе ДМС") and found this clinic that has the best rating : http://pudp.ru/ It's a very good clinic with high quality service. If you have the option of doing it in Germany, always go with Germany over Moscow for surgery:) With that said, of course Russians get surgery here too. Botkinskaya hospital is supposed to be very good for kidney issues (can't say about insurance).
