I am not a fan of EMC, but I love our pediatrician -Dr. Bardina. She is very attentive, always right on the diagnosis.

we all have been patients of EMC for more than 2 years and we had very bad, bad and great experiences. ENT highly recommend Dr. Milliet and Dr. Yulia Shelskaya. Good pediatricians: Dr. Katasonov and Dr. Osipova. Avoid duty doctors on evenings and weekends as they are completely useless.

I see a lot of comments about things being cheap. If it's cheap it isn't good and if its good it isn't cheap. If you have to ask how much something is, you can't afford it. Go to the European Clinic or American Medical Center if you want top treatment. Sounds like the rest is just hit and miss. The health care here is by far cheaper than the U.S. no matter how good the place, so won't hear any gripe from me.

Christina, I was under same impression, but then heard Dr. Lerner there was pretty good. I haven't tried her for my son yet, but heard positive feedback and strong recommendations from two different people.

We really liked Dr Pushkarev at the EMC. Great manner - informative without being patronising. Noticeably embarrassed about having to produce credit card machine during home visits - a good sign, I'd say. Good experience with nighttime call outs too (apart from cost, but that's par for the course unfortunately).

Dr Young was a highly recommended Ped at EMC but he has moved to GMS

Again for a child I would recommend Dr. Young at GMS as he works both Saturday and Sunday and has Tuesdays and Thursdays off instead as his thoughts are that people need a family doctor at the weekend. He is a family physician and very experienced. I have used EMC for 4 years but my last experience there with a lady pediatrician left my son, daughter and I very upset. The doctor was highly unpleasant to my son, telling him to be quiet and stop crying after he had an injection - she also told him the injection wouldn't hurt and then had a nurse hold him down and of course it did hurt but then kept telling him to be quiet and also said that he should stop crying like a baby (he's only 4). My son has now got a very bad attitude towards doctors which he never had before so I'm now trying to rebuild his trust of doctors with dr. Young. As an adult I've never had a problem with EMC but I refuse to go back there in principle because of the treatment of my son. So far GMS have been good. It's just a shame they are all in the north as I live in the south and so it takes me nearly an hour to get there! Not great in an emergency situation!!

There's the European Medical Center Children's Clinic. I know they speak English.

We saw dr Robert Young at GMS. I don't think he is a pediatrician as such rather a family doctor. We were very happy with the way he handled my 2 year old at the time. We didn't have anything complicated though just your regular ear infections etc.
