Gene Davis has a great crew of guys, but charges by the hour. You should try and get at least 2 different written estimates for each job. And figure it will be at least twice what the estimates cost because it seems like there is always something unforeseen that comes up.

Mike Suhling did the plumbing in our bathroom remodel. He recommended Gene Lumlen (sp) for tile and he did an excellent job on the tile. Richard Dean, electrician. (He's a Christian)

I've used Gene Davis for both my porches and family room/fireplace remodel. Always got a written estimate, never paid per hour although labor is figured in. Great guy to work with and I like his crew. Also does great work.
