Note to all you gardeners: When the Mt. Holly farmers market opens, there should be a Gaston county Master Gardener volunteer there each Saturday to give advice & answer questions. Look for their booth. Also, contact the Cooperative Extension office with any questions about pest or disease control - PLEASE don't use herbicides like Round Up (carcinogen) or pesticides (like 7 s) that kill bees. The experts at the Cooperative can help. They also offer classes in canning & preserving for WHEN your garden is very successful!
