[Amanda Perry, REMAX](http://www.remax.com/realestateagentoffice/mountpleasant-sc-29466-amandaperry-id27767973.html) She helped me when looking to find a place, and definitely has her shit together. Full disclosure, we have been friends for ~6 years now. Although, in this, I can confidently attest to her being a really good person in general. Not the type to try and pull anything over on you.

I live in Houston now and grew up in Charleston. I'm a realtor in Houston and refer business back home all the time and can recommend someone based on what you're really looking for. Depending on your situation and time line there are certain people that will work better for you. Feel free to PM me and I can help you out.

Robyn Lane with ERA Wilder(843-222-5599). She was our realtor and a bunch of our friends have used her as well. Cannot give Robyn enough credit for the hard work she puts in for each and every customer. Robyn specializes in relocation and one of our friends she helped was moving to Charleston from out of state. Another perk I should add: she does a lot of work with USAA and Navy Federal loans so if you or a close family member served in the military, she knows all the ins-and-outs for getting this population of folks good deals.

I would say use forsalebyowner.com and Craigslist. This time of year, lakefront should sell fast without paying a realtor. I'm sure your friends will spread the news on here for you too! Get me the details and I'll post them!
