Cathy O'Connor on Countyline. She is a retired nurse, and wonderful with children. She watched my daughter, and she us now in High school...and still wants to spend time with her!

Knox County Head Start runs a few pre-school classes in the old high school. They have a class that you have to qualify for but also classes for paying families that are separate.

Also, I'm on care.com.. I've had a couple decent responses there. Because of cost, we really can't get a "nanny" like a lot of the people on there are posting as. They want $10-$15 an hour. For that cost, I'd be better off staying home with her. People who watch children out of their homes tend to have much lower rates because they are watching multiple kids.
