Where do you go to get your oil changed? I don't know how to do it myself (yet), so I'm looking for an honest place that will change my oil without trying to upsell me...

I usually go to Jiffy lube or a similar business. Yes, they will try to sell you smaller items at inflated prices; air filters, belts, wiper blades etc. which you may or may not need.
If you go to a repair shop they usually don't try to sell you those smaller items. They go for the higher priced things like tires, brakes, etc.
Since you don't know how to change your oil, you probably don't know which of those items you may actually need when presented with the option.
There isn't much profit in changing oil which is why they are trying to sell you the other things, so I suggest the first option.
Changing oil is quite easy. On a Toyota Corolla your biggest obstacle, as somebody who is not mechanically knowledgeable, is elevating the car safely to access the drain plug and the oil filter.

Theres a 10 minute oil change place next to the railroad tracks on Fremont blvd/Peralta... I go there- they also try to sell you extra stuff as mentioned but they are HONEST about it.. They'll let you know you might have to change something but it can wait or they can change it right then and there.

Superstation car wash and lube on automall x grimmer. You get a free simple wash next door with oil change if you like that sort of thing. A bit pricier than just a simple oil change though.

I swear by [Quality Tune on Peralta](https://goo.gl/maps/L6 bpCmJidFBzFYoB6). My girlfriend gets her maintenance done by [YourMechanic](https://www.yourmechanic.com/) and says she likes them because they don't ask her questions. What she forgets is that she's in her office at the far end of the house, while I'm sitting in direct line of sight to the front door. They don't ask *her* questions, they ask *me* questions. ;)

I go to Sri Auto Services near Pacific Commons and the Fremont Auto Mall. He is an honest man and does not try to sell other services unless you need it. Prices are very reasonable too, I usually buy the oil and filter and give it to him to change it so he only charges for labor.
