It's not for everyone but maybe www.mypsych.com, they do online counselling. As a MyPsych client, you have access to a registered psychologist at any time, twenty-four hours a day, 365 days a year. You select your therapist from our list of certified psychologists and can participate in a therapy session from wherever you are, anywhere in the world because it's conducted online via real-time live chat.

Cognitive Bahavioural Therapy alongside Mindfulness is what got me through after 10 years of debilitating anxiety disorder (both social (SAD) and general GAD) including not being able to leave the house. I tried NLP, hypnotherapy and years of psychiatric meds but now contribute living my life to clinical psychology help. I highly recommend Paul Rushtonhttp://www.praconsulting.com.au/our-team/paul-rushton/

I would also recommend a book called Living With It by Bev Aisbitt. It's a comic style book (very easy read) that helped me through and many others I know that have suffered. I wish you well. It is a terrible thing to live with but coming out the other side, you will have a new lease on life x. http://bevaisbett.com/books-details.html

Griffith Uni really helped my son with a number of his anxieties. They were lovely and it's free! He made huge gains and I originally took him there for a program on blood/ needle phobia and anxiety. The social anxiety followed on from that.
