Every dentist has a college degree. Hence, it is very likely that he or she has enough knowledge regarding the English language in order to discuss everything required to do his or her job. I would rather focus on the quality of the craftsmanship and on the price level....

I went to http://praxisweller.com/ when I was working in Munich as an au pair and my au pair's insurance didn't have dental. I was pleased with the experience. It's right by the Maillingerstraße stop on the U1. Not sure about the endodontics reference though. Had several visits to http://www.alldent-zahnzentrum.de/ at HbF, all dentists and most nurses speak english. Call center girls are german only though. They also work on sundays and do not require appointment for emergency/pain cases. Edit: added link

If you just moved here your travel insurance should also be your first call. They should be able to tell you where to go as well but as has been said, if it is urgent then ER is your place to go then you can claim it back after the fact.
