Here is my experience with Hackett Brothers: The starter on my Altima went out and I replaced it with a refurb from O'Reilly's. The refurb was a bad unit. So I had to replace it again the same day. This one was still causing issues but my car would start every 2-3 tries so I just dealt with it. Well, the second refurb finally went out and left me at a gas station. I dropped the car off at Hackett Bros with no previous experience with them. I called Barry, the owner, the next day and explained what happened. He explained that the shop was very busy and it may be a few days before it gets in for repairs. Understandable, it's a busy time of year. A few hours later I got a call from Barry who had taken time to go look at it anyways. He explained that from what he could tell I was sold a second bad starter. He agreed to replace it and check for any other potential causes of the starting issue. The very next morning I got a call from Barry telling me my car was ready for pickup. The starter was bad and there was no other cause to the starting issues. The pricing was very fair, and he was upfront and open throughout the entire process. The repair is covered for 1 yr or 12,000 miles and since being repaired at the shop I haven't had any issues starting the car at all. I would recommend them to anyone.

Kevin Mumphrey if you want it done and with a warranty then call Jeff at Mr. Transmission on Murfreesboro RD. This guy rebuilt my Transmission and gave me a 2 year warranty and fixed it FOR FREE when it was out of warranty, he has ALL my automotive problems, and offers a WARRANTY!!! who else will do that? They are solid, no bullshit, just repair. 615-896-1881 tell Jeff, Tim sent you.

I have used Jerry Potts Auto and Tire World on Memorial I was treated well at both places, I must say this I took one of my company trucks to tire world recently to get new breaks wasn't really having break issues but it had been awhile and I assumed it was time, I gave them the go ahead to replace the breaks all the way around up front, Tire World called me and advised my breaks were still in good condition and didn't not charge me for the visit, I was amazed by the honesty,they could have put new breaks on and socked it to me as I was expecting a break job,they did not take advantage of me,I love honest business's and will always Bragg on these guys.

Francesca Carcerano I will trust no mechanic other than Raymond from Travis Auto Center (615) 410-7168. Not one mechanic is better - bar none. And very inexpensive and truly honest. This man saved me so much money. He is a true "fix it" mechanic where all other so called mechanics are actually just "parts installers" Hackett Brothers AC compressor = $925 Travis Auto to fix my AC = $188. There was nothing wrong with my AC compressor. But 3 other mechanics said via their $100+ diagnostics test, say I need to replace my AC compressor. Until I went to see Raymond. Right off the bat he said I don't need a whole new compressor. He said he thought it was a bent clutch arm and that shims need to be removed to cause engagement. My God that's exactly what it was. This dude physically was willing to check instead like all others - tell me I needed a 3 hour change to install a whole new AC compressor system. Hell one mechanic at one of these big places was telling me $1800 to fix my AC. I will never go to anyone else but only and only Travis Auto Repair. Raymond is a true mechanic, not a "parts installer".
