Brogli Lane Weaver & Alexander Animal Hospital is the best! Our primary vet is Dr. Alexander. We love him! We travel with our dogs and he always helps us to determine what vaccines are necessary according to where we are traveling. Dr. A was very helpful in determining a course of care when one of our babies was sick while on the road.

Dr. Bruner at Noah's Friends in Lascassas. It is about 15 minutes out of Murfreesboro, but he is extremely fair with his pricing and he and his staff really care about the pets they see. Brogl, Lane & Weaver's is nice don't get me wrong, but they have a large practice now and they definitely charge for it. Noah's Friends is a smaller practice, better pricing, and great staff.

Hiya! You all are so good at recommending and were so helpful with my veterinarian question, I have another recommendation request: Looking for an optometrist/glasses...
David C. replied:
Go to an eye doctor and get them to give you your prescription. I think they have to. They can't force you to buy glasses from them. Then, go to zennioptical.com and buy your glasses. They are CHEAP. Like, $25 shipped last time I bought some! You can buy 10 pairs for what 1 costs you at the eye doctor.
Sarah W. replied:
http://www.zennioptical.com/bifocal-glasses
David C. replied:
Dang Sarah. That's bad. Mine was 3.75 and 4.75, and I thought I was blind.
Sarah W. replied:
Patti - my prescription is so strong it warps my appearance through the lenses!! http://thewilsonbuzz.com/wp.../uploads/2014/11/zenni-4.jpg
Mittie L. replied:
Dr Carl Vinson on College St. Local!
Gretchen B. replied:
I love Dr Jennifer Drake in Barfield. Not sure they take your insurance though.
Rhonda S. replied:
I use Dr. Vinson on College St. You can get your prescription and go elsewhere to buy glasses. And they take VSP.
Mittie L. replied:
Dr Carl Vinson on College St. We've used him for years and years. For example, for myself.. frames, lenses, and exam cost me 30 bucks a year (would be less if I didnt' have bifocals and astigmatism). And if you have VSP you'll get a breakdown of how much you saved. Yeah, glasses are marked up horribly, but I will gladly pay for VSP insurance every paycheck for those kinds of savings.
Gina B. replied:
Accuvision is the best. I wear trifocals and go every year. Everyone is so very patient, helpful and nice. Dr. Martin is the best!
Sarah M. replied:
Andrea Price is great, and very accommodating. I paid out-of-pocket for my last contact exam and it was super affordable, and they don't have a problem with letting me take my prescription to buy contacts or glasses for cheaper elsewhere. She stays booked though so you'll want to make your appointment asap if you go with her.
Sonja W. replied:
I have VSP....highly recommend Drake Eye Care!!!
Kim T. replied:
I love Dr. Price and everyone at Price eye care. Been a happy patient for 9 years!
Patti M. replied:
Man, you all always come through and then some!!! Thank you!! Looks like I'm going with Dr. Vinson, because Price and Stones River couldn't get me in soon enough - I need new glasses before going on my cruise in January! ;)
Sarah W. replied:
Zenni Optical is amazing! You can upload a picture of your face and "try on" glasses. It's not a perfect representation, but it's pretty close! I went to the guy inside Stones River Mall and he gave me a print out of my prescription without me even asking. Now I have 3 pair of glasses for barely more than the cost of one from an optometrist's office.
Sarah W. replied:
Yeah, they do bifocals. The optometrist is Stones River Eyecare.
NEED HELP NOW!!!! something is wrong with my dog. i need a 24 vet clinic. and i need it cheap. really short on cash.. please any place around lavergne??
Tiffany G. replied:
Animal medical center is in Mboro. River Rock blvd 867.7575. All the open clinics are on emergency hours so you'll pay a little more but you can always apply for care credit if funds are limited. You can do that online or in the office

I love Kinard at Creekside! Very clean environment and friendly staff. I also use a travel vet, Dr. Mark Roberts, when it's something less severe and just want a quick and simple answer. He great at getting right to the point and keeps it cheap. I use Kinard for full checkups or anything more severe, and Dr. Roberts for simple questions/concerns or just a quick shots update.

Diane W. replied:
Murfreesboro Animal Clinic. There are many good ones in town. I would pick one that is conveniently located to my home. If your pet is hurt or sick you don't want to delay treatment by driving across town (in traffic, rush hour, with road construction etc)
