If you have girls, The Pakuranga Plaza has a different "Frozen" activity every day for the first week. A bit far away, but free and different.

Go to different parks you haven't been to before. Local beaches are still fun in winter, take a picnic. Arataki Visitors Centre, the Museum, Wintergardens.
