Hi we used Richard Jones, local guy, we had around 60-80 pines. His cost was $1700 just to fell the trees. He said that was the cheapest option as to mulch them would have cost thousands as the equipment is expensive to run. We're planning to recoup some money from firewood but we will need to organise that ourselves. We had a few people come and have a look and we couldn't find a cheaper option. He did a good job too.

Ted Martin we had around 120 pines cut and taken away from an area where access wasn't the easiest. Took wood as payment. But this may depend on the type of pine you have.
