Dr. Kenneth King, holy shit. Best guy you could meet, helped my dad with severe infection without insurance and undercharged him. He pulled my wisdom teeth and I didn't even feel it. He's around 39 th So. and 9 E. but you can find his office from his name I'm sure.

Dr. Paul Porter at the Avenues Dentistry is awesome. He is one of only 3 dentist in the state that does the new type of cerec crowns. He also has the newest type of X ray machines which give only 10% of the radiation of traditional dental x ray machines. Most importantly he does great work, and his assistant who did the shots for local anathesia was incredible- no pain whatsoever. The downside is that he is pricier than the average dentist- its funny because his building looks old and ghetto but he has all of the newest gadgets on the inside. I loved his work and had a great experience when he did a root canal a couple weeks ago.

Highland Dental Center - just started going there and everybody there is crazy nice and chill. Just did a regular cleaning, so I can't speak to the more intensive procedures. And though I'm not the best at dental hygiene, I managed to get through an appointment without feeling judged/berated.

We FINALLY found one. I have called every dentist around here and in Mayfield and Paducah, including the ones people are mentioning above and none of them are now taking Medicaid. The closest is Dr. Lora Sitton, who is in Princeton (just over an hour away). Ridiculous to have to to that far to see a dentist! Phone number is 270-365-6174.

I spent half of last week trying to find someone. I have a tooth that broke and keeps breaking. Hopefully there is something left to be pulled by the time they can see me.
