I normally go to the Biba Academy on Swanston Street. I think there's an academy in Fitzroy too! Friendly students and it's affordable.

Chris at Babar is my hair saviour. She's on Nicholson St. She works with you to get an amazing cut that grows out well. She used to be at Oxhey & Bushy but struck out on her own late last year. Lots of reviews for her on the womo site under O&B.

Simon at Yazoo in Prahan is fantastic. I have very long, fine hair and he does not yank it out when combing it wet and he cuts and colours it very well.

There's a place called Vuda in Coburg, just off Sydney rd, and Rima (the business owner) does an awesome job at cuts and colouring. The pricing is very decent considering it is A-grade work.
