Depends on what you need them for.. Divorce, child support, drunk driving, ect.. I know alot of people referred Jeff West, but to tell ya the truth, I was my own lawyer in a case and I blew him out of the water..lol.. not joking.. If it's DD related I would definantly go with Ed Anderson or Eric Borschtien. ( spell check on that last name).

Anyone in Michigan have a good lawyer? Our landlord is trying to short us out of half of our deposit for things he made up
Nicole M. replied:
My husband and I went through the same exact thing. Tenant/landlord laws are more in favor of tenants than landlords. I know ohio law can make the landlord pay twice what your deposit was. We won our case and got our entire deposit back. We would've been content with getting half if it back from him.
I was wondering if anyone knows a lawyer that will not chop your leg off with fee's. I need one for some personal matters Nothing big just getting some affairs in order.
Linda A. replied:
Try Gene Franks. I'm not sure what kind of law he practices but he will steer you in the right direction if he can't help you
