CALLING OHIO PEEPS THIS MIGRAINEUR NEEDS YOUR HELP Reposting for a member:
I'm asking if anyone on here lives in northwest ohio and know of a pain management place...
Beth C. replied:
^What Nikki said. I went through Cleveland Clinic years back and loved their care. If they're anything like that now, I say it's more than worth the travel. AND, if you go through a long program like IMATCH, there are ways to find lodging in Cleveland so you'll be right there throughout.

I live in a small rural town in Arizona (I'm from Cleveland) I live 90 miles south of Vegas and have had to travel there and back for almost a decade. It's worth the travel to get the best help. Cleveland clinic is a good place, my aunt was a cardiac nurse there. Migraine is miserable traveling, but overall worth the correct help. Hope you feel better soon:)

My neurologist is also Dr. Baron - I've been seeing him for probably close to 2 years. He has always been extremely kind and understanding. I wouldn't trade him for the world! I've only had my first appt with The Cleveland Clinic's Pain Management at the Strongsville facility. I would think that if I had a problem with them I could just switch to a different Clinic facility. Best of luck to you.

My Neuro is also at the Cleveland Clinic in the Walker Building....can't remember her name because I only saw her once.....I usually see her physician's assistant.

I'd try Michigan Head Pain and Neurological Institute (or MHNI) in Ann Arbor, MI. I've been satisfied with the way they have treated mine and they know what they're doing for sure. It's a 4.5 hour drive for me that I make every 2-3 months if that says anything. Good luck.

I'm NW Ohio - I believe St. Ritas in Lima has a good reputation but I haven't been there. I see a Dr. Sventic in Dayton (Beavercreek) and my mother goes to the Cleveland Clinic! I would love to connect with more people from NW Ohio, and I know my mother would also! Best wishes!

I am an RN with chronic migraines for the last year. Not too keen on my neurologist, but for pain management, Dr. James on Central Avenue across from Meijer is great. He did two blood patches for me last spring. Good luck!

Has anyone ever been on a low Tyramine diet? I keep finding information on this type of diet, but want to know if anyone has tried it to...

I am actually finally going to The Jefferson Headache Clinic in Philly. My neuro told me the same thing. There was nothing more she could do for me. I have waited for six months to get in there. I am seeing Dr. Young and am praying he can help me. ...See More
