Previsión médica, with Gaynor Procter Smith as the agent. Local Clinica Rincon with great Doctors and Specialists. Many speak English, and the price is amazing compared to UK medical cover. Annual free assessments with specialists for gyno, heart, urology, blood tests etc. I hassle authorisation process. Been with them five years, and cannot recommend highly enough.

Does anyone know how to get hold of the translators at Carlos Haya hospital. I know someone who has an appt and will need a translator.
Jill H. replied:
This is the number of Chiara the interpreter at Hospital Civil in Malaga she will give you contact number of Carlas Haya interpreters 951290349 !
Jess L. replied:
Pabellon B they are just as you walk thru the door on the right & should be able to use them so long as they're not already with someone. Because of waiting times they will sometimes speak to the office of the area you are visiting and ask them to contact the translator when it's your turn.
does anyone know if you have to book a translator in advance for a hospital appointment ?
Barbara C. replied:
I take it this is the hospital in Velez you're asking about? - If anyone needs an interpreter for the hospitals in Málaga, I can recommend Jose Luis Arroyo on 666 284 996 - Spanish, English & German. He charges €30 flat rate whether your appt. is 5 mins or 5 hours and if you phone him he'll tell you if the Doctor speaks your language & therefore you wouldn't need his service!
