I had a good experience with www.fyrst.es. Good prices, quick turnaround with an email service to them and a postal service for the sworn translation. Ours was accepted by Guardia Civil for residencia purposes in Torre Del Mar. You can ak for a quote through the website

I'm not sure Rosa Vidal is a sworn translator - I think they have to be 'approved' by the embassy? I used Alison Turner in Benajarafe over 10 years ago so if she's still there I would recommend her...

Previsión médica, with Gaynor Procter Smith as the agent. Local Clinica Rincon with great Doctors and Specialists. Many speak English, and the price is amazing compared to UK medical cover. Annual free assessments with specialists for gyno, heart, urology, blood tests etc. I hassle authorisation process. Been with them five years, and cannot recommend highly enough.

Well the doctor didn’t speak any English but his lovely nurse did and I have tablets and a specialist apt so very pleased, need blood tests too but have to go to Rincon Victorio for that. Thanks everybody for your help it’s been very helpful, Kim x

Pabellon B they are just as you walk thru the door on the right & should be able to use them so long as they're not already with someone. Because of waiting times they will sometimes speak to the office of the area you are visiting and ask them to contact the translator when it's your turn.

I take it this is the hospital in Velez you're asking about? - If anyone needs an interpreter for the hospitals in Málaga, I can recommend Jose Luis Arroyo on 666 284 996 - Spanish, English & German. He charges €30 flat rate whether your appt. is 5 mins or 5 hours and if you phone him he'll tell you if the Doctor speaks your language & therefore you wouldn't need his service!
